Default Premature bushing failure with mk or aev?

As anyone had issues with their mk or aev bushings? Both setups seems to use different bushings than tf and rk. Thanks in advance.

What bushings are you talking about,? And who is MK?

If by mk you mean metal cloak they along with aev are higher end companies that use high quality parts. I've never heard of either causing any bushing issues. If everything is installed correctly you would have nothing to worry about. I'm running an aev lift and love every bit of it.

AEV uses stock control arms, so no bushings issue there.

They also use factory trackbars front and rear with factory bushings, so again, no issues there.

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

Mk = metal cloak. I have heard the mk bushings wear bad. I have also heard the aev 2.5 wears the stock arm bushings at full flex. Not trying to bash either company, just wanted to know if anyone has has issues with either one. If stock bushings/mk bushings are so great why upgrade to tf monster joints/rk johnny joints?

You must hang out over at wayalife. They bash Metal Cloak and AEV pretty bad.
Currie makes Johnny Joints. Rock Krawler has their own joints.

Sorry dirtman but no wayoflife for me. Thanks for heads up though, may check them out. I was hoping to get some opinions on stock bushings/mk bushings vs tf joints and Johnny joints. I am planning on doing a lcog build and just trying to get some feedback. I want to do my build right with the best info possible.

I have 107k miles on stock arms. I don't get in the dirt near as much as I'd like. I do spend a solid two weeks in Colorado every year and flex it up on our property once a month. The factory arm bushings are holding up well.

Did you go with 2.5 with lca brackets? I have heard it drives like a dream on road, how is offroad flex?

I would not waste your time with wayalife its EVO all day long on that site, nothing else.
As for joints there are several that will do fine for you. I actually run 4 different joints on my clog long arm and 40's with tons.
