I sat on it, I'm about 185. Only thing that moved was the rear shocks.
I wouldnt do that much though, that is a ton of weight torquing the hinges IMO. I wouldnt hesitate tossing a fully loaded cooler on it though. Unless the support arms get bent somehow, I bet the tailgate hinges would fail before the table did.

Before anyone asks: It is HEAVY but My spare is going on a swingaway, so I am not concerned with overloading the gate.

I forgot to weigh it before i put it on, but Mel could probably chime in on that, he must know for shipping.

At first I thought the 1/8" steel was overkill. On second thought if using for a work bench it's just right. You could even clamp a small vise on it. Nice work.
