Do snorkels have issues with snow and ice? Which is better the AEV snorkel or to Volant, or is there a better brand?

search that one...everyone has their own opinion on their fav...AEV, River Raider, ARB, Volant.
Im partial to my homemade one.

As for snow and ice, we dont have much here....but I dont see it being much different from driving in rain.

The best way to prevent water in the airbox is to avoid water in the first place. When in the mountains or high desert, I don't drive through water if I can go around it. (Obvious exceptions include streams that bisect the trail.)

You boys who like to drive in and through deep water have more than hydro-locking to worry about. I hope you're repacking wheel bearings and draining diff fluid after spending any appreciable time in the drink.
