Price of balljoints, gussets & sleeves
Hey guys. Once again I can't believe my local mod shop... Are these quotes correct for parts and labour??
Synergy Balljoints ~ 800$
Gussets and sleeves ~ 800$
In both cases i was told it could go higher if the install was difficult due to seized nuts or slightly bent axle...
Is it just me or...

I have been told by a buddy that the Synergy ball joints would be ~$800 to install...
so it looks pretty good.

Synergy BJs are 250, so they're quoting you 350 in labor for that, Cs are about 30-60 depending on the company and will only require minor welding once everything is tore down to the BJs, and sleeves varry in both price, and time for installation, I know Terraflex sleeves require drilling and plug welding, which can add some labor.
In my opinion, they should charge you the parts and labor or the BJs, add the Cs for an extra 100, then the parts for the sleeves and maybe an extra hour of labor. With Cs and sleeves, everything will already be disassembled because of the BJs, the labor should be minimal.

As far as labor goes; i paid my local shop $700. That was for synergy sleeve and gusset, install of alloy ball joints, TF diff on the front, and exhaust spacers. My goal for Phase I was to get the front Dana 44 beefed up at one time and out of the way.
