Default Pro Comp 8179

Does anyone have the Procomp 8179 wheels with their
original BFG MT tires off of a Rubicon on them. I think the size
is 255 75 17 for the tire.

The specs I have found for the BFG is it needs a 6.5 to 8.5 rim
and the Pro Comp 8179 in the 17" is 9" rim.

Any help is muchly appreciated.

No expert here, but I would think that a too wide wheel is asking for trouble if you air down. You would probably experience more wear on the edges as well.

The reason I want to do this is my tires only have 1500km
and I cant afford new ones and rims and those are the
rims I would like to have when I go lift and 35s.

So has anyone put original Rubi tires on a 17x9 rim?
