I'm doing the rk lift when I do mine. Love those high clearance lower control arms. Control arms are solid steel. Not sure you could get any beefier.

Good luck with your build

I have limited time of from work and my time has gone fast. I need to get new tires so I want to do the lift first. I have gone a couple of times to the 4 wheel parts store off the 405 & 91 fwy wanting to get the rock krawler kit and get advice not buy their rubicon express or procomp lift. I know this is a brand they sell the most but my guts go for RK.
Does anyone know of other stores that can intall this lift (rock krawler). I live near the port of San Pedro, CA.
Thanks for the help.

I'm sure there are plenty of places in your area that carry RK. Post in the Socal section, someone will know where.

I'm in the Inland Empire and there are places everywhere around here.

You're seriously comparing Rock Krawler to Pro Comp?

Pro crawler all the way!

I will be using my 2009 jk limited X jeep 90% on road and light off-road to start. My stock Jk as it is seems to be too soft for my preference.

I am looking for a lift that provides an agreesive look with no need to change the drive shaft and has a good feel to on road riding. I am used to driving sport cars that I can feel the road.

I am leaning on the Rock Crawler 2.5 flex system to 3.5 inch lift with 5100 Bilstein shocks, and 35 inch tires. I am planning on lifting within a week.

Thanks in advance for your help sugestions.

Great Forum.

I bought the rubicon express 3.5" kit a few months ago and haven't had any problems yet with the drive shaft. Not sure if I would notice anything yet tho or if it would take a while. By sight the front is fine and the rear has a slight angle but nothing crazy.
