pro comp wheel problem

Default pro comp wheel problem

hi , I installed some pro comp 98 rock crawler last week ( with 40's ) and I just found out that the rim is not seating right, there is about 1/4 '' between the rim and the hubs, anyone with the same problem !!!

Were the washer /keepers taken off your hub? Something to check, doubt if they'd hold it that far away though.I'd pull a wheel and check for it.

the back side of the rim is not flush , where the bolt patern is, its about 1/4 '' deeper than the rim, so when I bolt the rim it sits on the rim not the bolt pattern, kind of hard to explain but easy to see

I'll have to take the wheel of again, it looks like it would work with a 1/4 '' spacer

If you would, post a pic of the backside of the rim sitting against the hub, and also a close-up of the rim as you would be looking at it as if to change the tire.
