Yes, but you need both upper and lower to push the axle towards the back. You can only go so far before you get interference in the back. If you have the stock rear DS try to maintain the same pinion angle. To do so will require adjusting the upper and lower control arms by different amounts because they are at different angles. The lower CAs have a steeper angle.

If that pic shows your tire with the suspension uncompressed, it looks like your lift kit move the axle forward significantly.

So the control arms should be upgrade as needed, in fact, the rear axle on my car really looked a little close to the front, and there are spaces between the rear tires and rear bumper.

After the installation of the new tires, I cutted the pinch seam as needed, but at end I still found a problem of the rear tires hitting the lower edge of the stock fenders even doing some mid level bumping on the road.
By the way, is there any way that can solve this problem, in fact, I am going to order a 5" lift kits right after I get more budget, but it will take sometime for my budget to get recovered.
I had this exact same issue. What I did was to grind down the pinch seem behind that lower portion of the wheel well liner. Then I simply trimmed off the bottom inch or inch and half of the wheel liner. Problem soved! Cost = zero.

The trick is removing more of the vertical section of the pinch seem. You can cut it or just grind it off. Either should work. More lift is not the answer nor desirable.

I already cutted an area of the pinch seam, and I think the plastic cover behind inside the fenders are ones that hitting the tires when bumping on the road. I have an another problem with the new 37" tires. When I am turing the steering wheel to do a full circle run, the front tires will abrase the car's frame a little bit, is there anybody who has this same issue?
