Default Problem with Bestop 2-piece soft doors...

Here's a shot while we were fitting the rear passenger door...

I hope buying these won't be a decision I'll regret. Three of the four doors are great, but a connecting rod between the bottom and top piece of the front passenger door was welded a little off. To give you an idea, the front door has three connecting rods. Two of them line up, but you can see how far off the third is here (the two others were slotted and this shot was taken straight on)...

Although you can bend the rods, it doesn't re-align it's base, so the window can only be pushed in so far... I've notified both Quadratec and Bestop of the problem, so we'll see...

I got them from Quadratec, but I think David from Northridge4x4 has them in stock now. I'd suggest buying them from Northridge4x4...

I wish. Their reply is basically "See your vendor. Thank you.". So it looks like I'll have to wait and see if Quadratec comes through...

Sean from Quadratec got back to me, so there's hope!

I got these doors for an upcoming Jeep Jamboree in 2 weeks, so I hope everything works out before then (fingers crossed).

BTW, the doors are pretty decent. I'm not sure how they'll fare in the rain though. I have the plastic sill protectors, and may need to remove them. The door seals have an edge that catches on the sill protectors...

One of my doors has the same problem, but it's not near that bad. When winter gets here I'm gonna cut i off and reweld it.
