Default procomp 7005

Would the procomp 7005 rim fit on the stock 32 inch goodyear sr-a tires that come with the x. I realized that the stock 17 inch wheel is 17x7.5 and that the procomp 7005 is 17x8. I dont really know if anything could be adjusted here. But please let me know if any of the available sizes in rim would fit the stock tire.

This is the link to the rim.

Thanks alot

I'm no expert but the tire should fit just fine. It will look slightly wider but not a problem. Do not get the same backspacing as stock so if you go 35" tires later you won't have to buy rims or spacers again. Do a search to see what backspacing people are running.

I recently posted the same question as you did (the search button will do wonders if you use it) and I got a ton of advice from people.

I'm assuming that since you're asking if they will fit, that you plan on buying wheels first and then tires later. Correct me if I'm wrong

IMO and I believe it is everyone's opinion too, you should just wait until you can upgrade both tires and wheels at the same time. That is what I am doing. As of now, the budget is a little tight, so back then I figured why not just buy wheels first because they are cheap and then buy tires in a year or so. Don't do it.

If you are happy and content with the stock goodyears, then by all means, go ahead, but I think you'll end up regretting it because they will look kinda funny and wider than usual with it sticking out a tad.

To answer your question, yeah they will fit but will look off, and my advice to you is to wait until you can buy the entire shoe instead of buying the shoe laces first.

hi get it with 4.5 backspacing or less is the general consensus and you can always go with spacers work great

i agree. you should get wheels and tires at the same time. the tires on the X doesn't look agressive with those wheels. But if you do, I would suggest getting wheels with backspace of 4.5 in. that way, when you upgrade to bigger tires in the future, it will not rub the wheelwell or links and dont have to buy spacers.
