Hey guys new to this forum but got my JK ( 2014 unlimited) re-geared and now I have a question...
1. I have an auto so I need a programmer or else my jeep will go into limp mode .I have a super chips which I have had for a while now and I always flash back to stock before it goes in for anything at the dealer but now I cant flash back to stock when I go to the dealer for warranty work. What are guys doing to remedy this?

Yea I still have 25,000 km and I have a persistent check engine light ( multiple cylinder misfire ) which has been to the dealership probably 5 times now and they just keep " updating " it and it wont go away. So trying to figure out how to go about this now that it is back in again and I've re-geared
Uninstall the chip in the parking lot and drive it into the bay. I made the mistake of trying to in install mine at home and drive it there haha. Realized quickly that I should have waited. Some dealers are cool and won't care that its flashed.
for the OP. I would get an aev procal and just leave it programmed. AEV procals don't go deep enough into the ecm to cause problems with warranty and for most things that you would need warranty work on wont cause and issue. your super chip may not cause an issue either that I don't know.
what happens when they take it for a test drive? Some warranty repair work requires a test drive.

Yea for me they do care, which means I have to uninstall my programmer. I would even be hesitant to get an aev procal... I could see them even saying something about that. I honesty think my superchips is what is causing this multiple cylinder misfire codeanyways.

If you can't drive it in limp mode without a tuner and you already believe it's the superchips causing the issue then it makes sense, going with your logic, to sell the SC and go procal.
But let's eliminate the superchips first. Just tune for tire size and gear ratio. Without changing the tune you can pretty well eliminate the superchips as the root of your issue. You've checked plugs? You've checked plug wires? You've made sure the ignition box isn't inadvertently wet?

The flashpaq functions as both a programmer and a tuner.
Remove whatever tune you are running, but keep the gear ratio and tire size. It will be no different than using a procal programmer.
