Remove whatever tune you are running, but keep the gear ratio and tire size. It will be no different than using a procal programmer.
Is that even possible? I will try to playa round when I get home but I didn't believe I could do that. If I flash my jeep back to stock ( before my regear ) I had zero check engine lights. If I reflash it then it always comes on every 300km or so same code or it will be random cylinder misfire codes but all related to the same thing. I only run the mileage or 87 octane tune which it has done with both tunes. I was unaware I could adjust just the tire/gear ratio without first installing one of their tunes.

It still needs to be 'locked' to your vehicle VIN, but yes, you can use all of the programming without running a tune.

Just go into the tunes and 'return to stock'. Then back out and go to the tire size and gear ratio and see what they say. If they went back to stock also, just reset them. (pretty sure that return to stock removed my tune and left the tire size and gear ratio and tpms where I set them.)

I just upgraded tires. Wheels. Truss. Gears. Gussets. Tie rod. Drag link ball joints and a bunch of other stuff and after resetting everything w my old superchips flash cal I was getting a 1st gear ratio problem. I tried to update it but to no avail. I sold it and went w Trail Dash. Solved everything and turned off my TPMS system all together and u can run my rear locker in 2 HI

Well I will be trying this when I get off work today, I didn't think it was possible actually. If it does work its still a piss off I paid for all the programming and it doesn't work. Superchips have been very slow to reply to emails and phone calls

My experience with them as well. I went through five totally clueless techs, all said they would look into the issue and get back to me. Never heard back from any of them. The 6th time, I was actually calling to get a refund (and would then buy another procal), and that tech figured out the issue and forced an update. Very unimpressive tech support department.

Have you check the codes with your Superchips to see if there are any codes and what they are. Multiple misfires sounds like it could be the crank position sensor.

Had to get the driver side head replaced on my 14. Have gear changes with my superchips and tune. Removed the tune and gear changes stayed in place. Dealer reflashed and I was good. Drove home and checked the flashpaq and still showed my upgraded gears.

From my troubleshooting over the past 6 months it is directly related to my tune. When i flashed back to stock i could drive for weeks and no engine codes, install the programmer and half a tank of gas later engine codes. So today i did intact return to stock and just did gear change and tire size calibrations and so far no codes but my trip to the mountains the weekend coming up will tell for sure. If nothing by then i know for sure its the tunes causing it.

So you returned back to stock? cause when i do that on mine it turns everything back to stock including my gear changes etc. But i still am putting EVERYTHING back to stock before i take it in. but with running no tunes ill see if it even comes back

So when you go to add the stock tune it changes gear ratios and stuff? Weird. Mine kept all the gear, tires, door lock, headlight...anything I changed function wise.
