Default Proper back spacing on wheel?

I am looking to buy new tires and wheels and I don't want them to stick out too far so what is the proper back spacing for the JK's? I have heard 5.25 and also 4.5, so what is better? I am looking at running 17" wheels on 33"x12.50 tires.

Thanks in advance, Ben

Stock BS is 6.25
Most lift mfg's recommend 4.50 or less (using 35x12.50's, I believe)
Since you are only going to 33's, and don't want the tires sticking out, find something around 4.75 or 5" (unless you plan on going to a bigger tire?)
