Please answer in detail.
I'm looking for pictures I can send.

As for what is required for suspension modifications, we're not sure and that is the concern. We are axle builders not suspension experts. This type of product is so new that there is little information available to help with the suspension design.

This is a Dynatrac JK that was shown at KOH. The AIM/Dynatrac system bolts to factory mounts. This was done for display only to gain customer feedback. It has not been tested for durability.

I saw the D44 version on my latest JP Magazine. Here's the note:

"AxleTech International Motorsports introduced a smaller version of its portal axle ends that fits late-model Dana 44 axles. The portal boxes provide a 4-inch lift and have a 1.25:1 reduction radio. The knuckle is made of steel and the gearbox is made of aluminum. The boxes are available for both front and rear axles and come with a 5-on-5 pattern."

I emailed them some questions but the guy was out of the office. I hope to get his reply this week.

I hope the "smaller version" also means smaller price tag.

The portal end shown in the picture doesn't have brakes, this could mean that stock brakes can be used. This could also mean lower price and the ability to retain the speed sensors, if I'm not wrong.

Interesting. We haven't seen anything but the samples shown at EJS. The system sounds intriguing. These units will add a tremendous amount of pressure to your front housing. You think we're seeing a lot of problems with bent housings and 'C's now???

I'll include on my install estimate one of the front d44 beef-up kits available.

Currently running a rockkrawler lift. RK CAs should be strong enoght to handle the portal added stress, but I don't know if they'll be too long for a stock height.

Will also need to beef up CA mounts.

Still waiting on price to see if this mod will be on my short-term, long-term or if-I-win-the-lottery list. LOL

I agree "Will also need to beef up CA mounts." I guess if the wheel will be less than 35 inches and not jumping on the rocks will not be big problems.

Please let us know the price as soon as you learn.
