ProSteer Ball Joints users,
Ask if you can provide your own ball joints and just let them cover the labor. Of course, it won't be warrantyed, but I think the tradeoff if worth it as you will need the work done again on the OEM joints most likely.
I just talked to service guy at local dealership. He said that he hasnt seen any bad ball joints on the JK and they "see a lot of Jk's"
he said my case would be the first one!!
is this overhyped a bit and ball joints arent a big problem for most JK folks??

There's prolly a ton of jk's rollin with bad ball joints, just alot of soccer moms prolly dont even off-road and don't know what to look for so it hasn't gone in for it. Alotta peeps have a prob, they'll just trade it in and get something else. Just one more reason there's alot of used jk's available.
Unless you plan on installing the oem ball joints yourself be willing to dish out some major labor cost to replace all six sets. I was quoted an average of $600.00 in just labor for one set. I installed a set of Dynas, and I expect them to still be solid when your replacing your third set.

i believe dyna will tell you to only use their upper and stock lower. i would guess for liabilty reasons they are not going to tell you how to modify the lower to run wth rcv , there isnt much for aftermarket right now. i know the lower bj, there is something that has to be grinded and will fit wth the rcv axles. maybe someone can chime in and tell you what has to ground down
