If/when I get stuck I'm going to try the rebar. Had a 20 foot piece laying around the yard so I made 4 ft pieces. Now I'm just looking for some chain to loop through.
I did find a pull pal on CL- he said it was the RW7000. I googled that and either it doesn't exist or was made before the Internet? Either way sounds a little small for a JK? $350 for that and a case...some people

I think while rebar may sound good to some in theory, driving it in is going to be a real time-waster. Then removing it, as already pointed out, will be a pain. After you're done with all of that, you're going to be pretty wore out. The Pul-Pal is a great product that makes setting and removal very quick. If you go out by yourself, you really should carry one. I agree about that RW7000--if it's not a typo, it sounds like it would be too small for our Jeeps.
