Guys -
I'm sure he's making an insincere comment regarding the outrageous price of these new jeeps. Not coming on here looking for personal financial advise (but I could be wrong).

I have 4.10's and 37's but a stick and I think it's a great combination. I only drove a stock rubicon automatic and I was pleasantly surprised with it. As mentioned - a programmer will likely be in order to adjust your shift points and you'll need it anyhow for speedo correction.

Do you really need a Rubicon? Save some $$ and get what you want afterwards.

I have found that over the years if you get a top quality item you retain value a lot more, I don't want to be putting axels /lockers in down the road. I would rather have it warrantied and ready to go.

I have a 2014 rubi with 35's and 4.10 auto and it does well. I have no complaints power wise. I need flat fenders tho as I have a 1.5" RK lift and it rides great but at full stuff I rub at the back fenders.

if you are talking about mine it is black.

I will also say mine shifts smoothly and does not hunt for the proper gear. I do use the Procal. I live in an area where you are either going up or down (Western Montana) and no issues performance wise. Something does not sound right on Mark D's buddies 3.6 with auto if he in fact as 4.10's. That is what mine 13 sport unlimited felt like with 3.21's and 33's but in over 20,000 miles my 14 with 4.10's has always shifted smoothly and even when climbing passes will only drop down 1 gear at a time and never the harsh high rev up like the 3.21's did. In Montana typical speeds are 70-85mph on the highway.
