I was going to suggest the same thing, Toad. Eddie, what are you going for that you want both? Protection and steps?

I bought the Mopar rock rails with side bar. I think they are the ones that come on the Rubicon.

Easy, bolt on installation.

I bought the Shrockworks sliders. Great for on the trail protection, but stick out enough for steps. My 7 year old loves them.

They've actually made gaining access to the back seat a lot easier since he can stand up on the slider and then get in the back as oppossed to trying to go up/in at the same time. I also bought some grip tape type stuff from a local marina and put on the top of the tubes. They get pretty slick when wet without it.

Unhappy Sorry man

From what I've seen, I olny have the nerf bars, I don't thing you can install both without a welder or something like that. You could probably get some rails that stick out enough for a step.

If you have about a grand to spend and want the sickest looking rails plus slider then try PSC(poison spyder).
