Some of the guys in our area have taken the rocker guards off (after marking them) and had a machine shop chop them for something like $20. Just depends on if you have the right tools to do it yourself...

to more specifically answer your question about lengthening the control arms, You can only lengthen the control arms a small amount. If you go to long the spring perches will be out of allignment with your axles and you will end up with bowed coil springs. That is why you will need to cut or bend the pinch seams so they will not cut into your tires upon suspension compression.

i have 4.5 lift with 37's had to trim the pinch seam and the rubi rock rails. i am not running stock fenders so i don't know about that.
good luck. stuff the tires under there and then do what you got to do to clear them.

I just joined the JK-Forum, and now I am just trying to get all the setting stuff finished as soon as possible.

 

I still have the stock drive shaft right now, do I have to replace it with aftermarket drive shaft right after I put on the 37" tire, or I can still use the stock DS for a while?

 

The stock DS will last a while. It was about 12,000 miles before mine started leaking greese. Watch for greese stains on the undercarraige arround the joints and then order your new shafts.

 

with the body lift the stock DS might just survive.
