I put 1.5" spidertrax on my stock jeep, it's in the shop getting lifted right now, and the spacers didn't make the jeep look any different. However, the jeep only had the stock rubicon tires if that matters? Maybe you'll get a better result with a different set up, but for me the 1.5" didn't do anything in my opinion.

On a side note, check out the "35's on stock rims" forum, page 7 and you'll see a spidertrax spacer that sheared off the hub while the driver was going 70mph down the highway. He did not credit it to a lousy spacer, rather poor torquing. Either way it's alarming

Default poor labor and poor parts are not the same

if you don't tighten your lug nuts, your wheels will fall off, don't properly torque the spacers they will be a problem, common sense, not the fault of the product.

What do you mean without backspacing? All wheels have some sort of backspacing. Im not sure what jeeps are but most stock wheels
are around 5.5 to 6" of backspacing or if you are more comfy with offsets around +40.

We have 34" Trail grapps on our jeep with 18x9 XD MONSTERS with a -12 offset or 4.5" of BS. My tires sit about 1 to 1.5" passed the stock fender flares. i rub the outer part of my fenders when i hit too big of a bump
If my wheels were 5.5" of BS i probably wouldnt rub on my fenders at all. Keep in mind i havent installed my lift yet. So if you end up buying a wheel with a 0 to negative offset do not do the spacers unless you just like your wheels being halfway outside of your fenders. IMO do wheels spacers when you do a lift that requires you to have a certain recommended backspacing and you are planning to run stock wheels.

+ offsets and the more inches of backspacing (wheels sits closer to vehicle)
- Offsets and less backspacing (wheels are pushed out)

I am running the stock jeep grand Cherokee 20in rims that don't have a negative BS or spacers. My tires sit within the fender flares and I rub turning hard right or left on both sides.

That's not the backspacing. That is the offset. However, using that number and your rim width, you can calculate your backspacing, which would be 4.53".

((Rim width + 1) / 2) + (neg offset * .03937)

((9+1)/2)+(-12*0.03937) = 4.52756"

I bet I can throw spacers pretty far...

As other said, with the correct backspacing you shouldn't have much if any rubbing...

Now that's a great answer, thanks! Super easy once it's explained the correct way rather than everyone trying to guess what's right and wrong!
