Plugs into your ODBII port, It does not need to stay connected to function.

Default Superchip

Superchip advertises 18 HP gain, and 24 ft lbs torque.
Can you still use regular 87 octane gas, or do you need to go to high test?????

Depends on which tune setting you use.

There are several different tuning options. Try a few and see which works for you. 87, 91, 93, tow, some combination of tune/gas.

There are a few hundred other Flashpaq threads to look through, plenty of feedback on what other people are using.

Im curious about returning the vehicles to stock. I am thinking about getting the SC for my Jeep, but there is a road trip coming up and I am thinking about using my GF's 2010 Auto JK. Can I return my JK to stock and plug it into hers for the road trip, then when I return... I can set hers back to stock and re-program mine?

Yes, you just need to return all the programming features back to the OEM defaults.

As for the previous comment about Superchips being "Cheesy" it is the intellectual property contained in their programmer not the physical hardware that makes up the majority of the associated cost. A software development team, testing staff and equipment plus a support department. Those are real costs of the final product and much more relative to the purchase price than the less than $25 to produce piece of hardware.
