Default Question About Teraflex BB

I installed my 2.5 Teraflex BB last weekend, Installed everything through Eddie's Instruction on project-JK. MY kit came with shock extenders but also came with rear sway bar end links, larger ones. Now following Eddies Instructions, he didnt install nor did I. But my concerns are that something is a making noises in the rear everytime i hit a bump in the rear. I tightend everyhing down, car drives awesome except the noise it makes. Any suggestions what could be the problem since my rims and tires are going on tomorrrow

Your supposed to put the longer ones in the rear and move your old rears to the front.

I had a slight noise a week ago. Turned out my rear shocks needed to be tighten up at the axle. And you do need the longer links in the rear..

As previously stated, the longer links need to be installed in the rear and the rear links go to the front. If you don't do this, you risk having you're swaybar flip if you fully drop you're axle.

I just read his instructions. Take a look at steps 5 & 54.

5. Slip a 19mm wrench in between the sway bar link and sway bar itself and hold the ball joint stud in place while removing the nut securing it in place with 18mm wrench. Completely remove the sway bar links from your Jeep JK Wrangler’s sway bar and discard them.

54. Install your Jeep JK Wrangler’s factory rear sway bar links onto the front axle mounts and tighten them to 75 ft. lbs. of torque. You will need an 18mm socket and wrench to do this job.

It sounds to me like he did use the new links. Bottom line is Teraflex includes the new links to maintain the proper sway bar angles... I suggest you put them on.

Well I guess Rims and Tires are not getting installed tomorrow. With installing the new Rear Sway bar end links is it necessary to install the new drop bracket, because Eddies directions dont tell you but Teraflex does?

TF directions also state that you only need to use their supplied links if you have a rubicon with the e disco. if that is the case, you must put the new links on the rear and move the rears to the front. im suspecting that since you didnt use the rear track bar bracket that that is maybe the issue. TF didnt supply the brackey back when WOL did the write up. put it on. its easy to install and will help with suspension geometry.
