What gear ratio do you have now? 4.10s and even 3.73s with a six speed are acceptable with 33" tires depending on what type of terrain you drive. If you never go more than 33" tires, 4.88s would be the lowest I would go. Check out some of the JK gear/rpm charts. I think anything between 4.10 and 4.88 would be good for 33" tires.

I just put 5.13's in my auto, and it's fine, actually wasn't much difference in feel from the stock 4.10's until you get up to around 70mph, then you notice it doesn't drop out of overdrive much.

I'm on 35"s and am under 2.5k rpms at 70-75 mph when it's in overdrive. so i'd say 5.13's for sure. but if you have a stick 5.13's are a tad too low for a daily driver on 35"s (my last JK was a stick so i know first hand).

good luck, and you won't regret 5.13's at all.

Did you put the gears in or have someone install them? Been looking for someone in Va to install mine.

I got an awesome gear guy now!! He's up in Chantilly, and was a Tech. for Dodge for 20 years, and now does stuff on the side, but through his friend's shop, so everything is warrantied and stuff.

PM your info and stuff I'll hook you up with him. he said $700 for gears and he can do them in about 2 days. that is if you buy your own gears. but he can also get the gears too. He's awesome, he's rebuilding an engine for me too (from on old TJ).
