Question on Gears
To be honest...I'm not worried about strength of gears. I just want a good mix. I have an automatic and probably won't go over 33's but 35's may be in the future sometime....I'm thinking just for the reason of better fuel economy yet still having a fun ride...4.88's might be for me. I would just like to opinions of more experienced members

I just put 5.13's in my auto, and it's fine, actually wasn't much difference in feel from the stock 4.10's until you get up to around 70mph, then you notice it doesn't drop out of overdrive much.
I'm on 35"s and am under 2.5k rpms at 70-75 mph when it's in overdrive. so i'd say 5.13's for sure. but if you have a stick 5.13's are a tad too low for a daily driver on 35"s (my last JK was a stick so i know first hand).
good luck, and you won't regret 5.13's at all.

I got an awesome gear guy now!! He's up in Chantilly, and was a Tech. for Dodge for 20 years, and now does stuff on the side, but through his friend's shop, so everything is warrantied and stuff.
PM your info and stuff I'll hook you up with him. he said $700 for gears and he can do them in about 2 days. that is if you buy your own gears. but he can also get the gears too. He's awesome, he's rebuilding an engine for me too (from on old TJ).
