Default Question and pics needed

Would a wheel 15x10 stick too far out on a 12.50 tire? Just wondering if I should go with a 15x8 or 15x10 with a 12.50 tire. Anybody with pics from front or rear would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This is the only pic I have right now. They are 15x10 Pro Comp 8179's with 3.63 BS with 35x12.50 Pro Comp xtreme MT's. I run them at 32 PSI on the road and air down to 15 PSI on the trail.

As 07JKRUBI noted, you have to take backspacing into consideration also, as it moves the entire wheel out from the wheel wells. What are the specs on the wheels you are looking at?

For a 12.5" wide tire, I would go with a 8" or 9 " wide rim. If you off-road, you could blow a bead with a 12.5" on a 10" rim when aired down unless it is a bead lock. Then I would look at a 4 - 4.5" back space to prevent rubbing.

Her's mine on 15X10s w/ 4" backspacing. Not a straight-on, but I think you can see
enough to get an idea...
