Questions about LOD rear bumber WITHOUT tire carrier
Hey guys, been reading this site for about a year and finally picked up an '09 unlimited on Sunday 
Nearly everything for phase 1 has been ordered, but I'm still undecided on the rear bumper. LOD is my first choice, but I have a couple questions:
1. Can I run a 35" spare on the tailgate (with the MBRP reinforcement kit) and clear the bumper? This would save some cash since I don't plan on wheeling too hard (yet).
2. Does the LOD w/o carrier look ok without actually having the carrier on it? I don't mind bolt holes and whatnot for carrier mounting, but having a giant pin sticking out of the bumper might be a bit much.
