You might want to re-think that answer. --> Both axles will have the same gears...

Gaudi777, go out to compnine.com, click on the research area, and enter your VIN. It should bring up your build sheet, listing everything you have. (it may show 3.21's as standard, but be sure to look at the options to see if you have the 3.73 upgrade). If you do have 3.21, the front d30 will need a new carrier (under $100 for it), but the rear d44 will not.

But before you drop the money on gears, you should drive it with stock gears and the new 35's and see what you think. If you decide that the performance is pathetic, 5.13's are what you will want.

What parts should I purchase to regear and How much does it cost around?
Matching front and rear gears. (make sure they are for a JK, not the standard d30/d44). Two master install kits, with new bearings. A front carrier, IF you have 3.21's.
The cost varies significantly, but expect somewhere between $1000 and $2000, parts and labor for both axles, out the door. Before buying the parts, though, check with your installer to get their policy on it. Some will want you to buy through them for warranty purposes.
You should also look into front axle upgrades. Since the axles will be completely ripped apart for the gears, this is the time to install gussets/sleeves/alloy shafts/lockers/etc. Not mandatory, but you will save on labor costs having any of them installed at the same time.

Welcome to the forum The better choice for your combo is 5.13 but drive it with the 35s and stock gears first and you will see. But i bet you will want to regear. And by the way JK is no SUV

$21k is a lot of money.... I paid $24k for a new 2010 JKU sport with power windows and hard top. Sticker was $28k. There is about $6k wiggle room from sticker price. so to get $4-$5k off sticker is not a big deal. Even more at the end of the model year! Check out the left over 2011 sports I bet you could steal a new one for about the cost of most used ones. Either way you'll enjoy what ever you get good luck!

depends on where you live/purchase the new Jeep. Out here in Colorado good luck haggling the dealer down by 5-6k since Jeeps sell like hotcakes. I was able to get my new Rubicon 4dr recently down from $35500 to $32300 since I'm military. Plus they have 0% financing or 1000 cash back going on until 1 Aug

Alrighty. The car has 3.74 ratio with Auto tranny.
33's tires will fit on the car with no problem?
What about wheels? Im thinking to get 17"rims...The size of wheels doesnt matter with axle ratio as size of tires does..?

No my friends you are both mistaken. 08 and up auto. 3.73 in both axles.
If you are upgrading please do your homework. Many kits are available many are incomplete. For example they don't include all the components for a complete lift. As for gears! If you are ever going to go larger than 35s then 5.13s is the best gear. but will work well with 35s.

Okay okay okay!!!! The jeep is not a car and should not be referred to as such! Jeep or truck is acceptable !!! Anxious you will need to learn to wave at wranglers regardless of the year! lol!!!!!
