The main thing stopping me from re-gearing now is that I don't want to spend the money on the installation of new gears into my stock dana 30 and 44. I eventually want to upgrade at least the front, if not the rear. When I get new axles, I'll get them with 4.88's or 5.13's.

Bosox, if you never plan to upgrade you axles, then a gear change might be prudent if you find the performance on 35's unacceptable. Get the lift, get the 35's and see what you think. It all comes down to what you find acceptable and what you're willing to pay for that extra bit of acceleration. Also keep in mind that new gears will probably (4.88's) if not definitely (5.13's) negatively affect your gas milage.

I wish I didn't have an obsession of doing things right or having my Jeep drive good cause I could sure save a lot of money. I wish I could have just thrown the 35s on 3" of body lift and rode around on 4.10s I would have a lot of money in my pocket. lol

4.10's with a 6speed, definately alot better to drive with 35's than an auto with the same set up. I've driven with 4.10's, 35's, auto for 25,000 miles before re- gearing to 5.13's. If I had it to do again, I'da re-geared immediately after the 35's.
