Default Quick decision

I have deceided to get the TF 2.5 coil lift. The question is whether or not to go with the 4 door version for my 2Dr or just stay with the 2dr? I have a heavy bumper with winch in the front and will be adding a heavy rear with tire carrier this month. I don't want to get into a driveshaft replacement issue. However if the 4dr gets an extra 1/2 inch or so is it worth it or will it cause additional problems.

What else should I replace/upgrade while I have everything apart? Thanks.

I have the 2dr coils and got well over three in the front with a winch and bumper. I ripped my front driveshaft boot the first time I Maxed out the flex at URE. I replaced it with one from Carolina drivetrain.

I was wondering the same thing, and after talking to Dave at Northridge4x4 I went with the 4 door kit for my 2011 2 door Sport. He doesn't even keep the 2 door kits in stock since just about every customer goes with the 4 door kit. I hope I made the right decision in trusting his opinion and I will hopefully find out this weekend if I get the lift here in time to install it on Sunday .

The difference between the 2 door coils and 4 door coils will be pretty small. As long as you're not trying to fit 37's in there, you'll probably be fine.

Why not get the correct lift for the 2 door and get 1/2 in spacers for the coils for your extra weight. You will get some natural sag after a couple hundred miles. I would just put the 1/2 spacer in the front for your added weight, so it evens out the rear.

after those new springs settle in you may loose that extra 1/2 in. Then add weight and your back to square one with a nose dive.
