Default Quick HELP! Rear brake removal

Im at work late putting in new axle assemblies. I need to put the e-brake assembly on the new axle, but I cant get it off my old rear one. I unbolted the backing plate bolts, but what now? I cant pull the axle out. Help please!

Yes it did thank you! It turns out that my friend helping me didnt tell me that the bolt on the plate holding the axle in spun in its pressed in spot. Couldnt get the nut off... Ended up cutting the bolt off. Got a little panicky.
