Default Quick lift question

A friend has Skyjacker 2.5 coil lift and shocks but the jeep does not sit level. The rear is 1 1/2 inches higher than the front.

I told him front spacers are the likely remedy however, if he adds 1 /34 spacer to the front will this create any problems or the need for additional parts such as links, trackbars etc, etc.

What do you recommend?

Thanks

A trackbar is likely, also cam bolts or adjustable lower control arms and then prolly a driveshaft after a few thousand miles as it will start buzzing in a most irritating way.

Sucks huh, one thing begets another begets anotehr and so on and so forth.

I keep trying to explain it to him but he's hard headed. I believe he will also need to extend his brake lines.

He thinks it will be OK!

I just finished my lift today. Basically, the OME LT from David @ Northridge except I got 3" Teraflex springs.

What a bitch of an install that was. I still need to do the alignment, as I took me like 24 hours to do it by myself. I took it real slow (not to mention) I have a broken Jaw so getting up and down all the time was really painful.

Worth the pain and sleep deprevation though! Turned out great. I am very happy with it.

I have the same lift with a 3/4" spacer in the front and it sits level, my JKS front track bar from northridge4x4 should come in next week, and i have a teraflex 2-3" rear trackbar bracket on now as well, and i would highly recomend to extend the rear brake lines in some way, longer sway bar links for the rear so he can move the rear links to the front, and if your buddy does add a spacer on the front id go ahead and get an adjustable front trackbar to recenter the axle, JKS track bar is $139 from northridge 4x4

Why not just call Skyjacker or the place where he got the lift and get some replacement springs....there's no reason the rear should be that much higher than the front. You're gonna be taking it apart anyway to add the spacers...might as well ditch the bad springs and replace them with some good ones.
