Default Quick lift question. Help!

I am installing my lift as I type... The torque specs for the lower control arms say 130 ft. lbs., both ends. That seems like an awful lot, and is smashing my bushings to pieces. Anyone think that is too much?

I believe there is a torque spec sheet some where around here. Try the project section.

That's kinda what I was thinking, and what I used to do with previous builds. Was trying to follow this to spec, but that just seems/looks like way too much

Thanks man. Just checked that, and it says 125, so pretty damn close. Maybe my torque bar is broke. It had completely smashed the bushing between the arm and bracket. To the point of almost ripping it

Finally got it finished up. 4 inch lift, and 5.13 gears. Still running my 33s until my 35s come in.

Yeah sure did. But, with the supervision of someone who has been doing them for years. Turned out pretty good. Wasnt too bad to do, just time consuming.
