Default Quick question about gas milage

Everyone Talks about horrible mileage after putting on a lift and putting on 35s... I did that 2.5. In lift and 35s nitto trail grapplers m/t.... Got the pro cal and re calibrated my speedo.. I have a 6 speed rubicon... My gas mileage is still at 18 mpg.. I do have a heavy foot.. And only have to fill up every 8 days, also do maybe only 5 miles of highway driving a week mostly stop and go traffic in Albuquerque new Mexico 5000' +elevation.. Now is there something wrong with the jeep? Or why am I not getting bad mileage....

Are you getting your mpg number from the jeep or from actual calculations?

my 2011 with 33's , 3.73s, exhaust and intake, I'm getting 18.6mpg with about 40% highway, 20% back country roads and 20% city. i lost about 1-2 mpg with exhaust and 33's. thats off my jeep fyi. with my intake and everything else stock i was over 20mpg if i remember correctly. I'm canadian so i was in the 10L-11L/100km average. i was getting over 700km per tank back then. now I'm hovering around 12.5-13L/100km with lift, 33s, winch, bumper, exhaust, intake and work gear. i never bought it for good mpg, unlike my mazdaspeed3, i think it was around 7-8L/100km with close to 400bhp lol.

I'm running 4.10s on my 07' 6 speed with 34's, tire/gas can carrier, stinger with winch, and armor. I'm pretty sure all that added weight affects mpg. I get 12-14 pretty consistently. I've seen better some days and worse others.

Well you're doing a heck of a lot better than me. Stock 2012 Rubi auto, with 4.10s and am around 14/15 L/100km in town, and 12.5 L/100km on the highway (at 100km - and little wind). Best I've done was 22.5 MPG (under 10l) however was only going 80 for that stretch. Typical tank is 400km in town, 600-650km on the highway.

I have 07 6spees rubi with 4.10s too.. And the calculations are true calculations, on the jeep they say like 18.7 mpg.. Motor is all stock with 69000 miles, and all I have is the teraflex 2.5 spring lift, 35s aired down to 34" and my spare was put where my back seat was.. Haha it runs good too no problems and I wheel it almost every Saturday.
