what price did you pau for your tires? It looks like i can get em for under 250 a meat at discount tire. This seems cheap compared to many but everybody keeps saying that they are pricey? Hmmm... What am i not seeing guys?

Yes.

37x12.50R17
345/75R16
365/75R16

The largest for a 15" rim is a 35x12.50

Default 3 sets of Procomp M/Ts

I have been very happy with the Procomps (original M/Ts). Each of the three sets lasted almost 40K miles. They clean mud well. Not the best in rain... prefer more siping. Great on rocks. Never had a sidewall problem. Some chipping of the tread, but I run them pretty hard.

#1 reason? I think twice a year, 4Wheel Parts offers buy 3 get one free. When I got into the 33-35" range that was some serious savings. I think one time I even got a deal on installation too. And they are more than aggressive. I get comments all the time.

This last set I had a bit of a balance issue with one of the tires. If I did it again, would go straight back and ask them to warranty the tire.

With all that said, I am finally going to Trxus (Swampers). Just wanted a change and have some extra cash. But that Procomp deal was a huge factor when I was first starting out. I stuck with them because the tread wear was excellent!

And I actually think they have this deal right after Xmas if I remember correctly. Bet they would tell you!

If it were me I'd probably go with the Duratracs, then the Cooper STT. I personally wouldn't do any procomps just because I've seen a friend have some bad luck with them. Not that everyone has had bad luck or anything, just with him he's now decided to get something different for his next tire.

I've actually been considering buying me a set of Duratracs for winter use. That or I'll do some web surfing and intensive investigation on some aggressive looking snow tires for my wrangler. I love my Toyo Open Country M/T's but with the light dusting of snow we had on the ground about a week ago or two, I felt I slid around a bit more than a good snow/winter tire would have allowed. I'd hate to see my girl have to drive it for some reason one day and wipe out because she's not used to having these mud terrains on snow and icy roads. I've heard and read the Duratracs are pretty much great in almost all conditions. They don't look bad either in person.

There are many great tire choices out there;
And I know these were not on your list, but this BF Goodrich AT is quiet, handles great, and has a proven history of long term wear with regular balancing and rotations. The majority of my driving is on road, so this tire was a great choice for me.

I recently added (5) of these to my recent build. Very happy and I would buy these tires again.
