Default Quiet my Muffler

I'm am looking for a suggestion or opinions on the best way to quiet my JK down when on highway. A couple years back I installed the Dynomax Rockcrawler system. (http://www.dynomax.com/single-2-5-ca...ler-39364.html). At first I really liked the sound at idle and acceleration, but found at a steady RPM on the highway it is just too LOUD. I don't mind it as much, but my family will not go on any trips longer than to the grocery store 😟.

Dynomax now makes a quieter crawler version that is only 10-15% quieter, which I don't think will help in my scenario. What I want is a NON obnoxious deep sound (not a ricer). I spoke to the guys at Dynomax and they said to add another Muffler inline to what I have. Is that feasible? And does it impact anything else?

Other options, would be to add a resonator or swap out for different system all together.

Looking for any opinions or guidance. We are planning a trip in June to a Jeep event, and I don't want to take 2 cars 😉

Just get an aftermarket resonator welded in before the muffler. Problem solved.

Thank you for making my decision much easier.

Does it need to be welded or could I use clamps?

Btw - amazing difference. I bought the same resonator and had a local shop install. Although it cost $100 they did a nice weld job and painted everything black. Thanks for tip
