Radiator Fan and Fording Water...
I have heard of guys installing switches in vehicles to shut off the radiator fan for fording deep water. This protects the fan from injuring the radiator when everything submerges.
Has anyone done this in a jk?
Or is there possibly a wiring harness to the fan that could just be unplugged while fording?

I haven't seen a fan do anything bad in water other than quit working. You get enough debris in the motor of the fan and it won't run. On a recent trip one of the JK's in my group was overheating, turned out the fan motor was not working. We pulled it out and cleaned it up and it was fine. Since then I carry electric motor cleaner with me on trips. I imagine fan running or not, in deep water it will get crap in motor.
