Make sure to get something that mounts to the frame. I'm in the market for rails as well and haven't decided yet, but I'll definitely be getting something that mounts right to the frame for maximum protection.

I would get the lod rails. they also double as a step but they look great. They mount to the frame as well. I've heard lots of good things about them and I would get them myself if they were out for 2drs yet.

Check out the MBRP rails if you have a short person who needs help getting in.

They have removable steps. And they have tested them.

I have olympic X-treme double sliders, great price, mount to the frame , works as a step for my kids and has saved my rockers from the rocks several times!

I wanted great body protection and a tube "step". For my money I thought the Olympic A/T Slider Rock Rails were the best .... for me.
