Has anybody to date have any problems with this skid plate? also has anybody used JB weld instead of the rtv that is supplied, please provide length of time it has been installed on your rig thanks to

I installed one about a year ago, following the instructions that came with it. I was driving though some heavy mud at a Boy Scout camp and came back a few minutes later wondering what that red thing was in the road I'd just driven up. Well, it was my skid. Told this story to TORN and he said to JB Weld it all around the edge, top and bottom. I did and haven't have a problem since then.
