Rancho front bumper..
hello well as i stated a few weeks ago i put some minor dents in the plastic portion of my stock-x bumper with fog lights and tow hooks. well after trying to get a couple members on here's bumpers with no luck and not even considering buying one from mopar ive settled on the ranch front bumper.
gonna order it tomorrow but just wanted to see if anyone on here could guide me in a different direction. heres the criteria for a bumper
-Stubby bumper no wider then jeep grill
-Needs to accept stock fog lights
-Black paint/powdercoat
and thats it and i guess a reasonable price. i wont be running a winch anytime soon or ever so winch mount not required.
now the only reason im even bringing this up is i know alot of you guys are running aftermarket bumpers so figure might as well see if i can get any input. also doing some measurements and looking at the ranch bumper it would be very easy to make it yourself (i have access to about 4 good welders and can easily get 1/4" steel and have it powder coated) but time/effort vs $$ for completed unit ive kinda figured $299 for the rancho is hard to beat and wouldnt have to do anything but bolt it on.
so any input or pictures of any of you guys running the rancho or similar bumper chime in
thanks

its really nothing special looks to be made from 4 pecies of 1/4" steel powdercoated blk but i believe it will get the job done. the only thing is in the pic u can see it dosnt quite cover the bottom part of the frame where our airdams attched so it may look like a bumper that was just thrown together not well thought out.
