RC 3.5" or Teraflex 2.5"
I will be getting a lift this spring and am debating between the Rough Country series II 3.5" and the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with shock adapters.
They are both in the $500 mark so obviously the teraflex is better quality but is the extra 1" & new shocks from RC worth it?
My 2 door 2011 sport is stock for now but I am moving to Calgary Alberta in March and am planning on doing a lot of expeditions and wheeling in the rockies. I already got my Backroads Mapbook
I am planning to put alot of weight as this will be an expedition style build; roof rack, rear rack w/ jerry cans, full size or mid size LOD bumper and eventually a rooftop tent. As for tires I am getting 33" duratracs as soon as I move out west (no sales tax in AB and am towing across Canada so need my stockies on).
Any other lift kits I should consider in that price range?
Thanks!

The RC kit does come with extended shocks and new control arms which is great for the price of the kit, but from what ive read on the forum the springs start to sag after a while (havent experienced it myself and they could possibly of fixed this issue) but i believe it also comes with a lifetime warranty too which is great
I had to make the same choice as you and decided to get the RC 3.5 since it was 20% during their Xmas sale. Ride quality itself is nice imo, and with the new control arms all the angles were on spec per my alignment results but cant give an opinion on the steering as i didnt install the drop pitman arm and getting some bump steer bc of it

RC v. TF
Ive been debating the same thing. I decided to go with the Rough Country Series II just for the extra inch and few other nice parts to have. I should be ordering it this week sometime.
