Default Re-building 2dr JK

Hi guys!
Ain't this forum great!!!

I am currently own '07 JK 2dr Auto Sport(Australia) w/
2" OME Suspension Lift (Nearly 3.5")
Mickey Thompson MTZ 33s
ARB Bull Bar
20% Offroad (Mild)
80% DD

I have done some "home work" for re-building my JK.
Had know idea what I was doing when I first got JK 2years ago like a moron.
Ride quality is totally terrible, maybe due to HD springs on the front? and other x-factors right?
Still figuring out to minimise stress to my vehicle with such a wrong set-up. I love my JK!!!
I appreciate your help in advance for any inputs and advices

---

Suspension & Drivetrain
Step 1. AEV 3.5" Premium Lift --- For some clearances
Step 2. Adjustable Panhard Rod (front&rear) --- To correct the length
Step 3. JKS or TF Adjustable Control Arms (upper&lower) --- Ride Quality?
Step 4. Coast Driveshafts (front&rear) --- To minimise stress to the vehicle
Step 5. EVO C2 Axel Gussets --- Reinforced for bigger tyres
Step 6. Extended bump stops
Step 7. Extended brake lines

Exterior
Step 1. BF KM2 35s
Step 2. 17" wheels (Procomp or AEV)
Step 3. Fender Flares (Bushwacker)

Misc.
Step 1. Flashpaq

---

But still figuring out about torquing pounds? and angles? of pinions and casters? the toe? camber?
Again, your inputs, recommendations and advices are welcome!!!
Thank you in advance.

If you could provide some detail on your poor ride quality that would be helpful.

I don't think I would buy a new lift in your situation, but rather add to the lift I already had and try to work through the issues by replacing stock parts your OME lift didn't come with. Control arms for one is going to provide a lot of help and they are already on your list.

I agree with Jpop. 3.5" with no caster correction makes for a horrible ride. This is from the FAQ's. See if it might help explain your current handling:

Q: What is Caster? How much do I need?
A: Caster is the angle upon which your front axle sits at in order to help keep your Jeep driving straight. Positive caster, which is what you want, will cause your axle to sit in a way that your pinion shaft will be dipping ever so slightly towards the ground. Too little or even negative caster angle can cause your Jeep to wander and feel 'flighty' or 'darty' as I've heard some people call it. From the factory, your JK will have +4.2° of caster and if you lift it and install larger tires, you will need to increase this amount to help compensate for the modifications. At 3"-4" of lift, I have found that +6°~8° of caster will do wonders to help improve the handling of your Jeep JK Wrangler.
Since OME lifts do not come with any way to adjust caster, that is faily likely to be your issue.
