Re-gear HOLY S*%t!!
so my 4.88s arrived today and i called my local gear shop who work on my ford f350/450's to get a gear install quote. 10hrs!!!!??? @ 95/hr????!!!! monkey balls 950.00+tax. I'm up over 1000.00 for a gear install??? sound truthful to you guys? or is this guy giving a reach around b/c i didn't buy his gears?

I heard from a 4x4 shop local that they would go by the book. 5 hours an axle. Not $95/hr but still. Is it a rubicon? If not then they may cut back the hours a little. A lot less involved in doing one with lockers vs without

I had a steelership quoat me 9 hrs a axle at 100$ a hr so 1800+tax, and parts if I bought them roughly 600$ for a package deal from northridge 4x4 they are great to do business with

Sounds like a good price,or save some bucks and do it yourself.Also,are you planning to add more traction?Locker,Tru-Trac?now the the time to do it too
