Default Re-Gear Question

Newby here. I just got a 2008 JK. It is automatic, 4" lift, 35 tires. I would like to re-gear it to 4.88 or 5.13. 95% of my driving will be in town. When I do go offroad is will be mostly beach or light trails. Dont really want to tear up stuff. Can you give me the best option for the above.

I have 5.13s and do mostly city driving as well. The jeep probably has more get up and go than it did stock. They are great!! Now when you go off road..especially in 4L, 5.13s are AWESOME !

I gained about 2 mpg back as well.

Go with 5.13s with the auto, you will not be disappointed. Some might say to go even further to 5.3. The JK doesn't have as much low end torque as the TJ, and the auto sucks power. You need the gearing to get into the powerband.

I have 4.88 with the 6 speed with 35s and it's about perfect.
