I was looking at different websites and it saw some vendors stated that 2012+ models need a procal to recalibrate for new gears. I am under the assumption that it is only for automatics. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Also I have 3.21 gears right now and I think I want to go 4.56, but it will be riding on a stock sahara suspension and tires. I know that I need to replace the front carrier as well when I regear. Is there anything else I would need?

I have a 2014 so I will not be getting the new bearings in my package...At least I don't think I need to..

You will need a Procal or your speedo will be way off. I'm guessing for safety features, the computer needs to know an accurate speed.

4.56 on stock tires? That's a ton of gear for those. 3.21 should be just fine with a manual and stock tires.

It's only 12 and newer autos, with out a procal or another type of turner to reset the gear ratio the trans sensors will cause it to go into limp mode, not an issue with a manual transmission

I would get my tires and wheels done before the gears.
4:56's and 32's, you're gonna be spinning that motor.
With a manual, you'll be in third gear by 15 mph.
I shift fast with my 315's and 4:56's.
