So I bought my jeep black cause I always wanted a black vehicle but never knew it would show as much crap and scrapes and scratches from wheeling as I never owned a darker coloured vehicle so I been thinking repainting it but not sure how I should go by doing it I was wondering what people thought of desert tan

I think desert tan would look cool. But no matter what you're going to get scratches from offroading

Yeah tan would look cool but are you planning to do the paint job yourself? If you are planning to have it done professionally expect your jeep to be out of commission for quite a while. If you want it done right they will breakdown the jeep to paint not o my the outside but inside as we'll. I got a quote in my town and they said your looking at $2500-$3000. I the end it's just going to get scrapped and scratched up again. Better off buying body armor imo.

Trail skinz? Cost effective and a good buff and you might end up with a new look for your jeep. Black on matte black contrast . Been in Vancouver the last 2 weeks without my jeep and Been spotting ones here. Saw a orange crush with black trail skinz on the doors and quarter panels. Look real nice. Made me want it for my rescue green one day.

worried about scratches? I would go with bedliner. As for the Desert Tan? We use damn rattle cans, yes rattle cans for our damn vehicles, its a pain in the butt, end of story, to spray a whole damn MRAP ......or at least the parts we repaired.
