Here's some pics of my boyfriend's YJ, I am sure your paint job will look better than his drunken one, but it gives you an idea of the color.

Seen a four door while filling up the other day, the whole body was line-x'd. Looked really good. Then you can run the thing through the trees no problem! I couldn't see painting a jeep for 3grand just to take it through all the trails again.

I don't want to get it professionally painted I was thinking just rattle can spraying it desert tan as getting it bedlined isn't in my budget if I screw it up I can just sand it and repaint it till I get it right

The worst part about his YJ is, I bought my JK, and so he bought a jeep, and then realized my stock jk was taller so he had to jack it up, then realized my tires were bigger and had to get bigger ones. He is not lacking in the bedroom department, but he hates that I am taller than him I just use it for my amusement

You will decrease the value of your Jeep by doing ANY paint work. A bad paint job will devalue it even more, not to mention make it harder to sell. I would suggest buffing out the scratches and selling the one you have now if you can't live with it. Buy another one that is already a more desireable (to you) color. Good luck.

I don't plan selling this jeep once its paid its going to be strictly a trailered trail rig
