Default Rear Bumper Selection

I have searched this (and other forums) in a search for a rear bumper and haven't really found one that meets my criteria. Wondering if I can get some suggestions from the experts here. I am looking for more of a basic bumper, side protection so a little bit of a wrap around, use the stock hitch, with shackle mounts, don't want to pay an arm and a leg, also don't want it to weigh a ton, and no lights. I have found a couple that meet most of these. Genright looks promising but I think. It sits too close to the tailgate. JCR looks good but I don't really want to cut the crossmember. I had a bad experience with my first attempt at my front bumper and don't want to repeat it. Or fab also looks good but it weighs 100 lbs. I've had my LOD mid width front for about a month and really like it but the rear has the backup lights. Any help would be appreciated.

I also look at Ace since I have their rock rails (which are great) but 130 lbs just for the bumper was a bit much. I am also looking for a bumper w/o a tire carrier.

if you like the lod but don't like the lights, call them up. chris, the owner is always good about doing custom orders and offering a bumper without the lights would be easy for them to do.

Wol is right. They are awesome at custom orders and I couldn't be happier. Chris is designing our fuel can holders from scratch and all we had to do was give him the dimensions.

I hadn't thought of a custom change to a bumper. Will have to take a closer look at the LOD. I know I really like my front mid width. I looked at the AEV but the cost was a little more than I want to go. Does anyone know how much the LOD weighs.

Looks like the LOD is about 750 to 800. Little more than I wanted to spend but I may have to. Haven't been able to find out how much it weighs yet. Still searching.

The LOD also removes the stock hitch. Does anyone have idea if this would be a custom change. Almost seems like too much of a custom change.

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions. The jcr weighs 65 lbs and looks good. The crusader version doesn't require cutting the crossbar. I will have to check and see if they will make one without the lights. Does anyone know?

I'll be going with shrockworks or PSC for my rear... Check them out of you haven't already. They may be able to make you one without lights too.
