I saw all of GenRight's vehicles when I was there. I saw the rear bumper on a JKUR. Looks very good. Very well designed to provide protection without being too bulky. If you look on their website you will see a metallic red/burgundy JKUR that has the rear bumper mounted. That is the Jeep I saw the bumper on. Again, very impressed with the quality as well as the quality of the welds. They are having both my front and rear bumper powdercoated so I should have them in about a week. And I also just ordered my Warn VR10000-S so I should be all set up in a week or two!!!

I have found a couple that meet most of these. Genright looks promising but I think. It sits too close to the tailgate. JCR looks good but I don't really want to cut the crossmember. I had a bad experience with my first attempt at my front bumper and don't want to repeat it. Or fab also looks good but it weighs 100 lbs. I've had my LOD mid width front for about a month and really like it but the rear has the backup lights. Any help would be appreciated.
Have you looked at the stock bumper from a Rubicon? It is basic, has recovery hooks, accommodates the stock receiver...I have an LOD bumper on the way and would sell you my take-off for cheap :-)

I have a stock Rubicon now. I'm looking for something.stronger than the plastic for a rear bumper.

Default Hmmmmmmm, Decided but Undecided...LOL

I love the JCR bumpers, but I would like one that comes with a winch option as well and it just the bumper and no tire carrier. Now that would be nice!!

Saw another thread that the Orfab is 96 lbs. That's about 30 lbs more than the JCR and 65 more than the Genright. Starts to add up.

I sent Orfab an email last night to verify the weight. We'll see what they say.

I heard back from Orfab. They said the shipping weight was 94 lbs and guessed that the shipping material was about 15 lbs. this would the bumper about 79 lbs. I think that is not too bad. Now just have to decide.

75-80 pounds sounds about right. I did not notice it being all that heavy when I installed mine. Everything lined up perfectly with the OR Fab rear when I did mine. Just take your time with the two bolts that go into the hitch frame from the top. BTW, I want to use those to mount a rear LED at some point...
