Default rear buper with jerry cans

For anyone with a Fabfours rear bumper. ( i dont remember seeing many on here)
Has anyone fab'd their own jerry can holder or mod'd another brands jerry can holder to fit?
The lack of this feature is the only thing holding me back from this bumper.
thanks for any input

One option is buy the bumper that you want, then mount the Jerry can to the spare.

Jerry Can mounted on Spare Tire

Another more expensive option might be buy the Con-Ferr Blitz Jerry Can Carrier and Adapter. You can learn more it here (about 1/4 way down the page):

My only comment is that they don't advertise a 5x5 adapter (for JK wheel), but I expect they'll address that pretty soon.

ya i've seen that option. Not what i'm looking for. I want to have 2 on either side . possibly a rack on top but the cans are my primary concern

same here. I may need to have something fabbed up to fit my Mopar rear bumper. I saw someone on here that I done that, I think.

Hi All,

One option you may want to consider is the "Body Armor" 63" swing away bumper for the Jk (if you have not already pulled the trigger on your rear bumper:

http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.as...2&partID=13367

it is at the top end of the price spectrum, but those jerry cans are snuggly tucked behind the spare, and there is room for your hi jack lift as well.

It is the most low profile approach I have seen. I think the only potential down side is the level of protection may not be as high as some other more robust bumpers.

I am sold, and and waiting to install my front ARB bumper before I do this mod.
Thanks,
Botsjeep
