Default Rear DS

Are the only aftermarket drive shafts for the rear of the JK all double cardan? I can't seem to find a regular CV shaft that can just be bolted in. I don't want to deal with making the pinion angle so great for a double cardan shaft. Just wondering if there is another shaft out there similar to the factory style, but not crappy and expensive like OE shaft haha

I don't need an entire new shaft though. It's just the boot that is torn, like a million other people. But wanted to go to a beefier DS and the double cardan requires so much more hassle than just bolting in a regular CV shaft.

Default boot

Qtech shows the boot for the 2dr (not sure why it wouldn't be for both 2 and 4dr) for 10.99.

I don't need the spline boot. I need a new boot where the CV joint is. They only sell it as a package with new CV, bolts, plates, and end caps.

The stock DS is actually very strong. However, not very rock resistant. I'd have to find the reference, but I am pretty sure the rzeppa joint can handle more torque than a 1310 joint.

I dont mind mind the stock shaft. I just need to get a new boot, or come up with something to hold the grease in. I have rebuilt a dozen CV joints and replaced boots. Not hard, just gotta find the boot. I don't want to pay for the CV itself. The old one can be cleaned and regreased and be just fine.

There is a company that sells all the replacement parts. Unfortunately, I can't recall who it was. I found it after doing a bunch of google searches.
