I dont mind mind the stock shaft. I just need to get a new boot, or come up with something to hold the grease in. I have rebuilt a dozen CV joints and replaced boots. Not hard, just gotta find the boot. I don't want to pay for the CV itself. The old one can be cleaned and regreased and be just fine.
